Morris grew up in Arlington, where he lived until his junior year of high school. He then moved to Granbury, where his family had built a lake house in 1972 and settled down. Morris is a proud father of five children, including Devon, who has blessed Morris with his only grandson and graduated from Tarleton State University. Morris’s daughter, Mandy, has given him two lovely granddaughters with her husband. In 2010, Morris and his wife decided to expand their family and turned to invitro fertilization. The procedure was successful, and in September 2012, they welcomed triplets – two boys and a girl – into their lives. Morris’s family has brought him immense joy and fulfillment, and he looks forward to continuing to explore the world with his loved ones by his side.
Morris’s sales career began when he landed his first job working for the largest fabrication company in the late 70s. He later started a successful custom sign manufacturing business in Granbury, Texas, producing lighted signs for many local businesses, including Dave’s Jewelry and First Financial Bank. Morris’s passion for scuba diving led him to start an outdoor adventures store, where he became a Master Instructor for the scuba world, even starting the college scuba program course at Tarleton University as an adjunct professor. After selling his scuba shop, Morris bought into a billboard company, which he eventually was sold to a major billboard corporation. He then sold his sign company shortly after that and went on to work for Lamar Advertising, where he excelled as the company’s number one salesperson for 15 years. In 2019, Morris got his real estate license, starting Granbury Realty, and developing Putteet Hill, a premier development in Hood County. Morris then decided to partner with Eric and Pamela to create VYBE. Morris’s contributions to his community were recognized when he was named the Outstanding Citizen of the Year by the Peers of Granbury Association of Realtors.

“We bought our new home sight unseen! Eric was able to FaceTime time us through the whole home and neighborhood while we were at our home in Montana. The home we bought was a new construction spec home and we were not able to be there for the final walk-through. Because of Eric’s experience with new construction, we trusted him to meet with the builder and communicate the final touch-ups. When we walked into our home for the first time we were amazed that we were able to relocate from Montana to Texas to such a beautiful home with such ease!”
